Winvian To Go

Picnic in the meadow at Winvian Farm

You asked, we listened. Thanks to easing restrictions we are now offering Winvian to Go guests the option of staying on property and enjoying their meal at one of our picnic or bistro tables well-spaced among the gardens and lawns of Winvian Farm.

Here’s how it will work:

When you call (860-393-3018) to order your to-go meal, let us know if you would like to reserve a table on the property. Make your reservations early since we have just 10 tables to offer.

Wine & water are available for purchase, we can not allow outside beer, wine or liquor.  You are welcome to bring your own flatware and glassware, or we will provide disposable flatware and cups.  Guests are required to social distance and to wear face masks when picking up their meals in the courtyard, where they will be directed to their reserved table.  Naturally, all of this is contingent upon fair weather.

This Thursday, June 11th , for three nights this week, Thursday through Saturday, Chef Chris Eddy and team will prepare three-course to-go dinners in the Winvian tradition, using only the freshest ingredients, including some from our gardens. Here’s how it will work.

Place your order Tuesday, June 9 th   through Friday, June 12th,  during the hours of 11 am and 4 pm, by calling 860-393-3018. You will be asked to select a preferred pick-up time on the half hour between 5 pm and 7 pm and for credit card payment.  We encourage you to order early since quantities are limited.

We will post a new menu once a week and each night will feature a set appetizer, entree and dessert, for $45 per person. We will also offer a wine of the night, thoughtfully selected to complement the entree, and open our full wine cellar and discount all wines 50%, on bottles up to $300.
