Last year, Winvian Farm landed in a lineup of the best “rustic yet refined wedding venues” in the U.S. put together by Erin Lindholm for Brides magazine. It saw our Litchfield Hills paradise included among such counterparts as Cloud Camp at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Alila Ventana Big Sur in California, Ohio’s Everhart Gathering Place, and RT Lodge down in Tennessee.

In the article, Lindholm highlighted the convenience of our “slice of pastoral New England countryside” to New York City and Boston, and reviewed our property’s numerous, versatile event spaces. These include such capacious indoor and outdoor wedding venues as the Gordon Brown House (our restored and converted 19th-century barn), our lawn, and the Seth Bird Meadow, with accommodations for better than 220 guests.
