This is a holiday season like none other—at the close of a year like none other, of course. We want to thank all of our guests who’ve stuck with us through 2020’s tumult, supporting us during our Winvian To Go phase and then after we reopened in mid-June. We appreciate your patronage and your understanding so very much.

The Challenges of 2020

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge the pain and stress that COVID-19 has caused: One way or another, this is a crisis that has touched all of us. We express our deepest gratitude to the courageous healthcare professionals and the many other workers on the frontlines of the pandemic.

We are also so grateful to our Winvian staff, who’ve shown incredible dedication and perseverance in keeping our guests safe and comfortable this year. Each and everybody on the Winvian team helps make this resort the special place it is, and contributes to that inimitable Winvian Farm experience.

Since we opened our doors back up in June following COVID-19 safety standards, we’ve seen record occupancy here at Winvian Farm. That’s partly a reflection of just how ideal our Litchfield Hills property’s setup is for a socially distanced getaway: Our countryside resort, with its private cottages and sprawling grounds, provides a safe haven of hospitality with plenty of elbow room and plenty of luxury. From delivering our gourmet farm-to-fork meals to your cottage to contactless guest services and carefully regulated use of our spa and pool facilities, we’re continuing to follow our rigorous COVID-19 protocol—the “Pure Winvian” approach you can learn more about right here.

Our record numbers also show how important the chance to get away, safely and responsibly, has been for people this year: a year defined, overall, by hunkering down and scaling back travel plans. Winvian Farm provides magical—even a bit whimsical—upscale accommodations in the gorgeous highlands of northwestern Connecticut, delivering a little taste of luxury and normalcy in topsy-turvy 2020.
