The holiday season is just around the corner, which means many folks are making plans right now to spend part of it with us here at Winvian Farm. Our tranquil and luxurious 113 acres in the Litchfield Hills of northwestern Connecticut provide a gorgeous holiday escape, not least for those making the easy trip from some of the Northeast’s big cities.
Along with vacationing guests, we host more than a few organized holiday happenings this time of year: small business gatherings, for example, or special retreats of friends or family. We’re happy to help arrange such an occasion for you!
Holiday Get-togethers at Winvian Farm
Winvian Farm holiday gatherings typically involve a full (and festive) dinner, with, of course, the potential for staying over at our charming, unique, and well-appointed cottages depending on availability.
The post-Thanksgiving period is a busy one here at Winvian, so we encourage you to get in touch with us soon if you’re interested in a holiday function (and accommodations) with us. As we strive to serve our leisure guests during this period, the likeliest days of the week for such gatherings are Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Congregate for merry pre-dinner cocktails in Maggie’s Tavern, then enjoy a gourmet three-course holiday meal in our restaurant, with a crackling fireplace contributing the perfect seasonal ambience. Some of our holiday functions in the past have included live music, such as classical duets. These sorts of note-perfect flourishes, coupled with our magnificent event spaces, luxury amenities, and pastoral property, all add up to sheer magic during this most joyous stretch of the calendar.
If you’re interested in a larger holiday party, we can site you in the resplendent Gordon Brown House, done up and decorated in style for the season.
