Winvian Farm: Always Refreshing & Enhancing Our Luxury Accommodations
What’s truly constant at Winvian Farm is our dedication to providing the finest in luxury hospitality in the Litchfield Hills, from our farm-to-fork cuisine and spa treatments to the well-appointed embrace of our accommodations. Yet we’re always refining and refreshing those lodgings and amenities to better fulfill that overarching mission.
Along with continual tweaks and embellishments, we occasionally undertake more intensive renovations where and when needed. We’re proud to offer some of the most unique and charming luxury accommodations in New England, and this attentive, thoughtful maintenance and upgrade work ensures we’re always hitting our lofty standards of excellence in this department.
Recent Renovations of Winvian Farm Cottages
We’ve recently finished significant renovations to the following Winvian cottages:
- Secret Society
- Golf
- Beaver
- Camping
- Greenhouse
- Music
- Maritime
- Helicopter
The work has ranged from complete gut-renovation overhauls (of, for example, the living area at Golf and the first floor of Secret Society) to the replacement of wood-burning fireplaces and stoves with new gas fireplaces (in Beaver, Camping, Greenhouse, and Helicopter), fresh interior and/or exterior paint jobs, and brand-new furniture in multiple cottages. From beautifully retiled bathrooms to the upgraded portico of Secret Society, we think you’re going to absolutely love the transformations.
We’ll next be setting our sprucing-up sights on the Hadley Suite, which complements our 18 standalone cottages with an elegant, historic retreat situated on the top floor of the 1775-built Seth Bird House. And, as always, we’ll be assessing our other cottages and implementing upgrades and renovation projects as needed.
