watercolor workshop: the late summer palette
Experience the late-summer beauty of Hollister House Garden through the art of watercolor. In this full-day workshop, award-winning botanical artist Betsy Rogers-Knox will guide participants through color mixing, transparent washes, and techniques for capturing the garden’s vibrant late-summer palette.
Guests will begin with close observation in the garden before returning to the barn to create a botanical color wheel inspired by the surrounding landscape. Designed for all experience levels, the workshop offers a thoughtful opportunity to explore how color, light, and botanical forms shape the character of a garden.
Participants should bring a bag lunch; water and snacks will be provided.
