Here at Winvian Farm, we’re focused on giving our guests a singular luxury hospitality experience in the Litchfield Hills of northwestern Connecticut. Winvian Farm Included Among Connecticut Magazine’s Best Restaurants 2023

We were thrilled to see the culinary component of our resort—an absolutely linchpin component, mind you—honored across three different categories in the 2023 edition of Connecticut Magazine’s annual roundup of the best restaurants in the Constitution State. This list is compiled based on reader surveys as well as input from a panel of experts the magazine assembles for the task.

Specifically, Winvian Farm was included in the “Overall Excellence,” “Most Romantic,” and “Wine Selection” categories. That’s testament to the caliber of the team behind The Restaurant at Winvian Farm, helmed by Executive Chef Chris Eddy—and the fine-tuned curation of our famous wine cellar!

Recent Condé Nast Traveler Nods to Winvian Farm

Late last year, the long-running and highly regarded magazine Condé Nast Traveler ranked Winvian Farm among “The 17 Best Wellness Retreats in the World,” alongside properties in New Zealand, Austria, Mexico, South Africa, Turks and Caicos, California, and other globe-spanning destinations.

The authors of that article, Nicholas Derenzo and Besty Blumenthal, describe Winvian as “the perfect retreat for that jaded office cube-dweller, who sorely needs to detox.” They highlight the uniqueness of our 18 differently themed cottages (designed by more than a dozen different architects), our “magnificent” on-site spa, and the “clean, bold, farm-to-table fare with organic produce plucked from the farm’s own gardens” on offer at The Restaurant at Winvian Farm.

We’re also proud to report that Winvian Farm was once again included in the 2022 iteration of the Condé Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards, an honor we’ve received multiple times in different categories.
