Winvian Farm: A Boutique AAA Five Diamond Hotel
We’d like to share several wonderful accolades we’ve recently received here at Winvian Farm. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t immensely proud of them, but we’re also highlighting them because they reflect fundamental aspects of the Winvian experience.
Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award
We’re overjoyed to have once again won a Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award: The 2019 edition of these awards saw Winvian Farm land No. 3 in the Top 25 Resorts in New England. The CNT Readers’ Choice Awards are truly a special honor, given they’re awarded based entirely on the input of travelers themselves; some 600,000 participated this year. We’re incredibly grateful to those guests of ours who felt motivated enough about Winvian Farm to cast a vote for us. Thank you so much! You all inspire us to maintain the high hospitality standard we’ve set over the years, and to continually strive to improve and expand our luxury resort experience.
AAA Five Diamond Ratings
We’re also happy to announce that Winvian Farm has managed (here again, not for the first time) to achieve the quite rare distinction of receiving AAA Five Diamond ratings for both our accommodations and our restaurant. The Five Diamond distinction is applied to lodgings and eateries that meet AAA’s highest standards of excellence and luxury, as based on AAA inspectors’ evaluations.
The defining criteria for hotels fulfilling the Five Diamond requirements are, according to AAA’s website, “ultimate luxury, sophistication and comfort with extraordinary physical attributes, meticulous personalized service, extensive amenities, and impeccable standards of excellence.” Only about 0.4 percent of the 27,000-plus hotels AAA considers meet this loftiest standard.
For restaurants, meanwhile, the Five Diamond rating—achieved by about 0.2 percent of some 32,000 establishments annually reviewed by AAA—reflects “leading-edge cuisine of the finest ingredients, uniquely prepared by an acclaimed chef, served by expert service staff led by maître d’ in extraordinary surroundings.”
