Samuri-Iado– Join us in the Gordon Brown House to learn the basics of Samuri-Iado. Our instructor will lead you in learning to draw, cut and replace the katana (often referred to as a Samurai sword) back in the scabbard. Though you will be using unsharpened replicas of real katanas, you will have a chance to practice defensive and attacking drills and will leave knowing the basic skills of Samurai-Iado. Olympic Fencing (pictured left)-Learn from Olympic fencing coach Marc Ganych as he shows you how to master the arts of foil fencing. To dive deeper than just the basics, we also offer an all-new electric fencing class with all electric weapons to create the feeling of a real-time fencing simulation.
